AUMAT Maschinenbau GmbH is currently delivering an automated system that codes lock cylinders.
Pins (in constantly changing combinations), plates, and springs are automatically filled into existing bores, and the openings in the cylinders are then sealed with plugs.
The design and construction phase for this highly innovative project took a total of three years.
The system, known as AZB (External Cylinder Filling), increases production quality, reduces waste, and enables just-in-time production.
