RIDS 16 x 1225 Compression Broaching Machine

The RIDS 16 x 1225 compression broaching machine is designed for the high-volume production of high-quality internal profiles. The motion sequence is designed to achieve high performance levels. As a rule, the use of high-speed broaching can be dispensed with. This results in reduced power requirements and longer tool life.

The number of broaching stations and the distance between them are determined according to the specific application.

RISZ 10x800 Pull Broaching Machine

The application range as a pull broaching machine covers the broaching of standard internal profiles (e.g., involutes, serrations, keyways, round bores), even when compression broaching can no longer be used due to relatively long broaching tools with small cross-sections.
The application range is primarily focused on volume production for largely maintenance-free continuous operation.
With suitable workpieces, the machine can also be set up for external broaching or a combination of internal and external broaching.

A key feature of the base machine is its independence regarding the number of broaching stations and station spacing. This characteristic is thus adapted to the individual case. A later use deviating from the originally selected design is possible at any time by replacing the special equipment. Universal applicability of the machine is therefore guaranteed by the given basic design.

The broaching tools are guided with precise alignment and narrowed clearance at the shank and end piece from the entry of the first tooth to the exit of the last tooth (during the complete broaching stroke). This makes the machine particularly suitable for precision broaching.

Automatic Transport System

Automatic-Transport-System

The machine is typically equipped with workpiece slides for the spatial separation of the processing and handling levels.

Loading and unloading devices are available for each individual case, usually based on a non-cycle-dependent workpiece feed and discharge for loose linking by means of metal link belts (or roller conveyors).

Automatic Tool Change System

Automatic-Tool-Change-System

Tool change for lightweight broaching tools to be moved by hand:

The combination of movements required for the tool change is controlled from the control panel. The tools then stand unlocked in the shank holder with the broaching slide moved upwards. In this position, the tools can be removed and reinserted with a single movement.

Tool change for heavy broaching tools:

Several equipment options are available for moving the broaching tools outwards for accessibility by an external crane through simple means, or for fully automatic changing with or without a tool turret magazine.
Shank and end piece designs are adapted to DIN 1417 (but with narrowed tolerances).
