The flexible opto-electronic system offers the possibility not only to feed parts, but also to check them for type, length, and shape. It is possible to feed further and similar parts, as the system offered is a so-called \"open\" system, meaning no special guides are needed for correct orientation. The camera belt is also open on one side and therefore insensitive to so-called \"jams.\" Furthermore, the computer offers the possibility to save additional parts.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Resolution:<\/strong>
- detectable differences in height (vertical), corresponds to the \u00d8\/height of the part: from 0.05 mm
- detectable differences in length (horizontal), corresponds to the length of the part, depending on the feed speed of the camera belt: from 0.20 mm<\/p>\n

Performance:<\/strong>
- 100\u2013200 parts per minute, depending on type. Partially even faster.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

2. Solution Approach<\/span><\/h3>\n

The bulk parts are manually fed into the electromagnetically driven vibratory bowl feeder; from there, they are fed to the outlet.<\/p>\n

By means of a controlled conveyor belt, the parts are individually guided past the line scan camera and checked for position and identical part.<\/p>\n

Incorrectly oriented parts are blown back into the bowl via valve 1.<\/p>\n

N.i.O. (non-compliant) parts are blown out separately into a container via valve 2.<\/p>\n

i.O. (compliant) parts are transported to the end of the belt and pneumatically assisted into the customer-provided tube (or see also option: tubes) and vibrated into place.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

3. Technical Limitations<\/span><\/h3>\n

  • The parts must be clean and oil-free.<\/li>\n
  • The parts must not hook, stick together, or form chains.<\/li>\n
  • Important: The required compressed air pressure is 6 bar.<\/li>\n
  • The offered device complies with the safety and accident prevention regulations for machine tools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n
