The company WILKA Schlie\u00dftechnik GmbH in Velbert<\/strong> has now commissioned the world's largest broaching machine for lock cylinder cores for locking systems, with a total weight of 13.5 tons.<\/p>\n

The machine sets new standards not only with its size but also in terms of user-friendliness: An intuitive operating concept with a graphical user interface makes handling the complex machine almost \"child's play.\"<\/p>\n

The machine has magazine slots for up to 1000 broaching tool segments.
By CNC-controlled variation of the engagement of the broaching tool segments, all conceivable combinations can be realized. This makes it possible to manufacture almost the entire product range data-set-controlled, without time-consuming retooling. In several subsequent operations, bores are automatically deburred or reamed. <\/p>\n

Automatic monitoring for tool breakage and wear minimizes running costs.
